Legend has it that aboard the steamships of theAdria Royal Hungarian Sea Navigation Company , a mysterious traveller always booked his journey under the same name: Lazy Lion.
He didn't collect destinations, but stories—from the spice-filled souks of Marrakech and Mediterranean ports to distant cafés and long sea crossings, in a majestic era when the journey itself was the greatest adventure.
Today, that same spirit of curiosity lives on at Lazy Lion, a tucked-away cocktail bar in the center of Budapest, located within the historic Adria Palace, once home to the Hungarian Adriatic Sea Navigation Company. Here, Mediterranean ease meets the understated elegance of great American cocktail bars, where every cocktail marks the beginning of a memorable evening.
Thoughtfully crafted drinks, genuine hospitality and that unmistakable feeling of "just one more" make Lazy Lion the perfect stop after dinner, before the party—or for those evenings when having only one cocktail quietly turns into an entire night.
